The Verizon Wireless BamaJam Music and Arts Festival is pleased to offer camping for you during your stay. Enjoy your time camping under the stars. You can reserve your campsites online, over the telephone, or if space is available, at the event. But please don’t wait as camping fills up fast.  

We will have 2 different types campgrounds. One for all of you who want to pitch a Tent and one for all of you who want a place to park your RV. 

General Camping Information

In order to camp at Verizon BamaJam a 3-day General Admission must be purchased in addition to a Camping Ticket. No Exceptions.

North and South RV Camping sites are 25’ x 40’.
Central RV  30' x 50'
Tents 20' x 40'

All camping begins at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 and ends at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 6, 2010.

Please remember all camping is primitive! We are not able to provide water or electrical hook ups to RVs and campers, but generators are welcome!

Quiet time inside the park is from 3 a.m.–7 a.m.

                                                   Ticket Prices – Camping

Camping Admission: All persons entering the campground must have purchased a 3-day General Admission ticket to Verizon BamaJam. The Camping Ticket purchased will be exchanged for a Camping Access Pass, which must be placed on your sleeping unit so it is in plain view -- that means outside your tent or on the dash of your camper or RV.

Wristbands: Your 3-Day General Admission Ticket will be exchanged for a 3-Day General Admission Wristband. You must wear this wristband for all three days to be allowed entrance to the campground. Wristbands are non-transferable. Wristbands become void if they appear cut, stretched or tampered with. Anyone found in any camping areas without the proper passes are subject to being evicted from the campsite.

Parking: At no extra cost, Verizon BamaJam has a “one engine in” policy for vehicles at the festival. Tent campers have space for 1 tent and 1 vehicle. RV Campers have space for 1 pulled RV/ Camper and the vehicle towing. Motor homes count as the one vehicle. Motorcycles do not count as a vehicle.

Every vehicle must have a parking pass that is CLEARLY visible inside each vehicle. Extra parking passes are available to purchase for those who want to bring another vehicle other than the one allotted.

Extra parking at the camping site: Any additional vehicle, other than the one “one engine in” policy mentioned above, must purchase an additional vehicle ticket for $50.

Every vehicle must fit into your campsite! You may place as many extra vehicles that will fit inside the site, but if your vehicle or vehicles take up more room than the size of the area, you must purchase an additional campsite(s) for the original price of the Camping Ticket. $165 for RV Camping, $85 for Tent Camping.

No vehicles will be permitted to park in the fire lanes or on the access roads.

Water: For a fee, arrangements can be made with the campground office to fill your camping unit with water and/or to have the septic pumped out. Water stations are located within walking distance from the campgrounds.

Add-ons:  Individual Port-A-Johns will be available to rent for $100. You can purchase these at checkout online or onsite.

Showers/ Bathrooms: Bathrooms and showers are available in the campgrounds. Bathrooms and showers are located in RV North and are free to use for all campers! An upgraded shower house is available for $5 per shower and can be purchased onsite at the event, location to be determined.
